As the waterfront and boats are readied for winter, BSSC continues its outreach in the community and beyond sharing their resources and passion at: the Boothbay Region Elementary School “Set for Success” event where families picked up BSSC program information and coloring books; the Pemaquid Oyster Festival and Boothbay Railway Village Museum Family Harvest Day decorating dozens of oyster shells with folks of all ages; aboard the Katahdin on Moosehead Lake teaching Greenville and Guilford students about the Kennebec River Watershed. The upcoming Career Fair at Maine Maritime Academy and dinner with students at the University of New England provides BSSC with opportunities to talk with students about summer employment/internship.
