Boothbay Sea and Science Center receives grant

The Boothbay Sea and Science Center is one of seven area nonprofit organizations to share in a $25,000 grant from the Lincoln County Committee of the Maine Community Foundation. Money from the grant is to be used to help fund a 10-month program for fourth, fifth and sixth-grade students to explore the science of seaweed farming.

 

The Lincoln County Fund is a permanent endowment that supports projects and nonprofits that strengthen communities in the county. The Maine Community Foundation is a statewide organization that works donors and other partners to improve the quality of life for all Maine people.
